The Office of Housing and Residence Life at South Georgia Institute is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive living environment that fosters personal growth and academic success. Through our residential programs and services, we encourage independent thinking, responsible decision-making, and active engagement within the campus community.

Goals & Commitment

• At least 90% of residential students will report feeling connected to campus resources through housing initiatives.

• Maintain a 0% cancellation rate due to student dissatisfaction and reduce non-hardship-related cancellations by 50%.

• Students serving as Resident Assistants or participating in the Residence Hall Association will demonstrate higher retention rates compared to non-participants.
